Energy Is Not a Moral Failing

It’s easy to treat energy like a measure of character.

On good days, things move.

On low-energy days, everything feels harder — and it’s tempting to turn that into a judgment.

Lazy.

Unmotivated.

Behind.

But energy isn’t a moral issue.

It’s a resource. And like any resource, it fluctuates.

Some days you have more of it.

Some days you don’t.

That doesn’t mean you’re doing life wrong.

If today feels slower, that doesn’t require explanation.

If your capacity is limited, that doesn’t need fixing.

Meeting a day where you are — instead of where you think you should be — is often the most realistic way forward.

Energy will rise and fall.

Your worth doesn’t.
